I participated in an Influenster Twitter Party (which I recommend you do in the future), and I won a guaranteed VoxBox, so I’m not sure if this is what I won or if it was the XO VoxBox that I reviewed weeks ago. I actually received this box before the XO, but with the variety of products included, it took me a little longer to get through. Anyhow, I was thrilled with the collection of goodies because there was a nice mix of healthy edibles (my favorite) and also a handful of health and beauty items that I’ve never tried before.
So, here’s what I got:
Skinnygirl Banana Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Nutrition Bar
Skinnygirl products are everywhere! I used to associate the name with their line of lower-calorie cocktails, but this brand has really taken off. I received a nutrition bar that I was excited to try because I don’t eat many banana-chocolate flavored treats. The top part of the bar has a drizzle of chocolate, while a thin layer of chocolate coats the bottom. The combination of banana and chocolate is very tasty, and I’d definitely purchase this on my own.
Product highlights for this gluten free bar include 7 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber, it’s not made with artificial sweeteners or flavors, and it’s only 150 calories, as opposed to some bars that are in the 200+ calorie range.
Beanitos White Bean Chips
Dubbed ‘the original bean chip,’ there were two different flavors of Beanitos White Bean Chips included in the Refresh VoxBox: Nacho and Restaurant Style with Sea Salt. As a snack, they are very tasty, crispy, and will satisfy a salty craving without all the sodium.
Additional highlights of Beanitos Chips include: gluten free, Non-GMO Project Verified, high in fiber (24% of your recommended daily value), vegetarian, all natural, and has 4 grams of protein. A 1.5 ounce bag contains 1 ½ servings, and equals 210 calories, if you eat the entire bag. I liked the flavor of the Nacho Beanitos Chips so much so that I went out and purchased their Beanitos White Cheddar Puffs, which are made with of whole navy beans (also gluten free).
Listerine Freshburst Pocketpaks
Since it is incredibly inconvenient to carry a bottle of mouthwash in your purse, Listerine Freshburst Pocketpaks certainly come in handy when you need a quick burst of fresh breath. One small container contains 24 breath strips, which are made to kill 99% of bad breath germs. I will say that this tiny lil’ strip packs a powerful punch. You can feel it working on your tongue, as well as a wave of menthol that instantly clears your sinus passages.
The distinct Listerine taste that you encounter with their mouthwash is there. Your breath is definitely fresh, making this product incredibly useful for those moments when you need to make a good impression.
Coupon for 1 Free Orgain Organic Protein Nutrition Shake
I have my eye of trying the Creamy Chocolate Fudge Orgain Organic Protein shake, which comes with 25 grams of protein and is only 150 calories per serving. Haven’t been able to track this one down yet, but will spread the word about how it tastes when I get a chance.
L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Comforting Cream

Montagne Jeunesse Manuka Honey Peel Off
I’ve seen a lot of bloggers sing the praises of Montagne Jeunesse products, so I was pleased this was included. I received this natural cleansing facial peel, which is made with manuka honey and jasmine. Dubbed ‘sexy natural skincare,’ you first cleanse your face before applying the peel. Then, you let it work its magic for 15-20 minutes, and then you peel off.
First off, the peel smells amazing, and looks just like honey. It actually brings back childhood memories of this candy I used to eat. You don’t know how hard it was for me NOT to taste it because it smells completely edible.
After a while, you start to feel the peel harden on your face. It hardens nicely while keeping its sweet scent. It almost looks like your face is made out of plastic. It’s been a really long time since I’ve used a product like this, and I would definitely buy on my own. After removing the Montagne Jeunesse peel, which comes off incredibly easy, my face felt smooth…and smelled like sweet honey!
DenTek Comfort Clean Floss Picks
A 30-count package of DenTek floss picks were in the Refresh VoxBox, and I love flossing. While I don’t use floss picks often, I do like the added features that regular floss does not offer. Made with ‘silky tape floss,’ the DenTek picks are made to remove food, eliminate plaque, work around tight teeth, and accommodate sensitive gums. When I used them, they did glide over my teeth nicely. The ‘pick’ end is quite sturdy and convenient. I read on the package that you can also use the picks to clean your tongue. Very convenient!
A small pack of multi-colored DenTek Fun Flossers was also included – in Wild Fruit flavor. They are geared towards accommodating smaller hands and mouths.
Covergirl Ultra Smooth Foundation + Applicator
I received a Covergirl Ultra Smooth Foundation + Applicator, and this particular product incorporates Olay (one of my favorite brands). The packaging says that it is the first makeup to minimize the look of flaws and fine facial hair. I received the Creamy Natural shade. You first squeeze a small amount of the makeup onto the applicator, and then use it to blend in the product. I don’t have any fine facial hair growth, so I am waiting to try this out
That was a pretty substantial lineup of goodies in the RefreshVoxBox if you ask me.
