As I look back on my childhood days, the flavors of yogurt were quite limited, and there were no such things as Greek yogurts lining the shelves. Today, you can enjoy a wealth of yogurt specialties and options – some that border on dessert-like quality. For me, I’ve always been attracted to pear flavors, and knew I had to try Chobani’s Pear non-fat Greek yogurt when I saw it.
With small bits of REAL fruit waiting to be stirred into the bulk of an ultra-creamy, thicker consistency of the Greek strained yogurt, I love what Chobani has to offer. It’s very creamy, and very tasty. You also don’t have to worry about the overly-sweetened jellyness of fruit flavors that the other brands like to hide down there.
Chobani Greek yogurt contains two times more protein than regular yogurts – 14 grams – which is 28% of your recommended daily value. Each 6-ounce serving is 140 calories. The yogurt is also made using only natural ingredients, no artificial sweeteners, and no preservatives. The Greek yogurt is also gluten free, for those of you with concerns.
Chobani makes other flavors of Greek yogurt such as Pineapple, Blueberry, Strawberry, Peach, and Black Cherry.
Also, as an Upstate New Yorker, I hear a lot about the latest developments regarding Chobani since the company is based about 60 miles away from my hometown. The company has a great backstory, and I’m glad that I finally got around to sampling some of the deliciousness.
