Lean Cuisine Grilled Chicken Caesar Frozen Entree

I’ve had this Lean Cuisine in my freezer for months now, and today, I finally decided to give it a try. The Grilled Chicken Caesar is from Lean Cuisine’s ‘Comfort’ line of frozen entrees, and is made with “white meat chicken, broccoli and garlic flavored radiatore pasta in a parmesan caesar sauce.” The combination of flavors sound tasty, and in the end, the high-protein meal deserves a ‘thumbs up.’

Visually, I feel that the meal turned out looking quite similar to the packaging photo, with the exception of the grilled chicken, which appears noticeably more appetizing on the box than it does in my bowl. I also didn’t get the well-cooked abundance of chicken that is pictured…it was more like one sizeable pale-looking chunk-strip, with a few larger-than-average-sized bits and pieces. The broccoli was surprisingly crispy, and produced a satisfying ‘crunch.’

My favorite part of this meal was the garlic radiatore, which added an interesting texture and taste to the meal; it complemented the parmesan caesar sauce nicely. There was also enough sauce for the meal, and I really liked it because it wasn’t thick or overpowering. Nothing in this meal was soggy or overcooked, and I would definitely buy this Lean Cuisine frozen entrée again.
