B is for Bragg’s Liquid Aminos

BraggsAminoAcidsFor at least two months, I’m cutting out wheat, gluten and sugar (again), and have been quite successful for more than two weeks now. Because a great deal of products on the market contain my forbidden ingredients, I have to search (sometimes far and wide) to compensate for the things I need that adds flavor to the foods and meals I cook. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos is a tasty lifesaver.

My brother introduced me to this all-purpose seasoning, which is a healthy substitute for soy sauce and tamari. He makes a mean pan-fried, boneless, skinless chicken breast using it. The natural soy sauce alternative is consists of soy protein (vegetable protein from soybeans) and purified water. The product is gluten free, NON GMO project verified, and contains no preservatives.

Bragg Liquid Aminos also offers your body access to 16 essential and non-essential amino acids, including leusine, arginine, glycine, and proline. So, not only do you receive the nutrition that you need, but it offers a tantalizing taste that truly enhances the flavor of your meals.

I have only used Bragg’s to season my boneless, skinless chicken and as a soy sauce substitute when making a recipe this week. You can also use the product for salads, soups, vegetables, casseroles, potatoes, tofu, jerky, rice & beans, popcorn, meats, fish, wok meals, stir-frys, and to make a tasty broth.

One serving is ½ teaspoon, and contains 310 mg of protein and 160 mg of naturally occurring sodium.

Bragg is the name of a doctor-approved and designed product line that specializes in healthy goods that include olive oil, apple cider vinegar, seasonings, and salad dressings – I’ve also tried their all-natural, gluten-free, organic Hawaiian Salad Dressing…and it is fruity and delicious.
