For starters, I would like to say that if you are going to name something ‘Dasani Drops,’ then it should act accordingly. I had to wipe my refrigerator off from the precision stream that shot out from the container when I first added it to a glass of water. It really squirts out.
One serving of the flavor enhancer is 1/3 teaspoon, but this is a product you use to meet your taste bud requirements. So, you’ll have to squirt, stir and sip a couple of times…until you get the hang of it.
When all was said and done, the end result is a slightly neon yellow shade of flavored water.
The Taste
Usually, you see pineapple paired with mango in drinks, but to have a pineapple coconut flavor is pretty unique, and I appreciate the variety. It is a pleasant tasting beverage, where you can distinctly detect both flavors – one doesn’t overpower the other.
Another plus is that it lacks that artificial-sweetener twang that many 0-calorie beverage products tend to produce. This flavor enhancer is also made with sucralose – and not that “evil” aspartame.
Additional flavors of Dasani Drops are Pink Lemonade, Strawberry Kiwi, and I think I saw a Mixed Berry but don’t quote me on this.
Other product highlights include:
- Does not need to be refrigerated after opening
- For best quality, use within one month of opening
- Highly portable – I carry it in my purse
- Makes 32 (8-ounce) servings
